On their first day, YouthWorks Week 4 received their “Welcome to No Limits” and “Brain Injury Prevention for Teens” lessons!
We then, of course, showed them how to work on your Gross Motor Skills!
YouthWorks Week 4 also learned to work on their cognitive skills by utilizing an adapted version of the game “Family Feud” that we call “Category Feud”!
They found Rachel’s T-Rex and brought him out to play!
Day 2 with YouthWorks Week 4 we worked on some ongoing projects!
In these shots you’ll see volunteers assisting with our Catnip Cat Toy production for local kitties in shelters!
One volunteer teaching another to sew! Cool!
YouthWorks Week 4 also helped us to make more dog biscuits for pups in local shelters!
David was happy to assist YouthWorks with biscuit making!
Helping with outdoor projects! Here are some volunteers helping us to salvage our picnic table! It was beginning to fall apart, but thanks to YouthWorks volunteers and Donnie & Maryann Brittingham, we think it’s going to look almost brand new soon!
Using our new Power Washer to wash the garden shed. The sheds look really nice! Thank you!
Painting our plant boxes. The cucumbers and carrots now have a “fancy” new place to grow!
Thank you ALL so much for all of your hard work!
We appreciate this wonderful organization so very much, and we hope you all enjoyed your time on the Eastern Shore as much as we enjoyed having y’all here!
