No Limits Eastern Shore (NLES) partnered with Eastern Shore Healthy Communities (ESHC) to evaluate and promote walking trails on the Eastern Shore. ESHC is a coalition that was established in 2009 in order to organize a group of partners dedicated to creating a healthier Eastern Shore. Through this coalition, mini-grants were awarded to 7 towns funding the placement of signage along pre-established walking areas/trails encouraging physical activity.
To view more information on these 7 walking areas/trails as well as view the maps of where they are located please view Seven Easy Walks of the Shore, a document prepared by Walkability Work Group of ESHC in 2016.
