What is #GivingTuesday?
#GivingTuesday is a global movement that connects diverse groups of individuals, communities, and organizations for one common purpose: to celebrate and encourage giving! Observed on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, directly after the well-known shopping events “Black Friday” and “Cyber Monday”, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable, end-of-year giving season.
Through the generosity and support of individuals, communities, and organizations from all around the world, millions of dollars have been raised on previous #GivingTuesdays in order to help give back and say thank you to a wide number of charities, nonprofits, and other organizations.
