Congratulations to our 2025 Kate Award winner, Virginia Tyler!
Virginia is a senior at Nandua High School and has volunteered within the community in many ways. She has been a door greeter and operated a fundraising booth for the Riverside Hospital Auxillary Ball. Virginia has also participated as a “dipper” for the Freezin For A Reason fundraiser for Habitat For Humanity. Operating the Rotary Cornhole booth at the Wachapreague Fireman’s Carnival with her parents and sisters has been an additional volunteer activity. She has also contributed her time to DARE Day at Nandua High School throughout all four years of high school.
