Congratulations to I’Ta’Nashia Jackson, this year’s Kate Award winner! She was an honorable mention for 2023. She helped prepare dinners for the citizens at the Accomack Senior Village, The Motel in Onley “Regal Inn”, and The Town Village in Exmore. I’Ta’Nashia volunteered at the nursing home in Parksley. She gave free hair styles for back to school to schoolmates. And during an internship at Pungoteague Elementary School, she read a story to the students. It is great to see the community involvement!
