No Limits Eastern Shore (NLES) members evaluate and promote walking trails on the Eastern Shore. We assess the walking trails for hazards and accessibility for people with mobility challenges. This page is dedicated to our ongoing assessments and findings, while encouraging physical activity.
We started with Eight Easy Walks of the Shore, a document by Eastern Shore Healthy Communities, in 2016 and continue Walking Trail Accessibility Assessments, with new trails added as we evaluate them. The United Way of Virginia’s Eastern Shore has generously sponsored information cards that are placed in Eastern Shore Welcome Centers.

NLES’ Walking Trail Assessment Form (While the NLES Walking Trails Assessment Form was designed specifically to grade accessibility of ESVA trails, the outcomes should prove useful to individuals of all abilities throughout our community.)
