Announcing the 2025 Kate Award Winners!!

No Limits Eastern Shore Brain Injury Services is excited to announce the 2025 winners of the Kathleen W. Richardson Citizenship Award! These awards honor the late Kate Richardson who was a founding member of No Limits and an active volunteer in the community. The awards were originally funded by Kate’s surviving brothers.

We are proud to recognize another great group of young people this year for their contributions to our community. Applications are judged and winners are determined by the brain injury survivors at No Limits.

This year’s First Place winner will receive $500 and a plaque and the 2 Honorable Mention winners will receive $250 and a plaque. Our Kate Awards page on our website will be updated by 5/1/25 with 2025 winner information.

Once again, this year, the terrific local small business High Tide Fabrications has created our plaques for the First Place and Honorable Mention winners and they look amazing!

Without further ado, this year’s winners are:

FIRST PLACE:  Virginia Tyler, Onancock, Nandua High School/12th Grade

HONORABLE MENTION: Kayla Hicks, Birdsnest, Northhampton High School/12th Grade

HONORABLE MENTION: Ashley Kicko, New Church, Penn Foster High School/11th Grade
