Brain Injury Awareness Day 2024 at the General Assembly!

On Tuesday, 1/30/24, our team of advocates got up before dawn to head to Richmond, VA, and the General Assembly for Brain Injury Awareness Day. This year it was Brandon, CL, Nick, Kyle & Rachel. The crew at No Limits worked hard making dog biscuits & setting up packets for us to deliver to all 140 Delegates & Senators to promote brain injury awareness & to give an example of one of the things we do here (making treats for local animal shelters & sanctuaries).

We had a great day! If you’d like more info about brain injury advocacy in Virginia, please check out the Brain Injury Association of Virginia’s Advocacy page here: https://www.biav.net/about-us/advocacy/ .

We met with our new Senator: Senator DeSteph.
We also met with our longtime Delegate, Delegate Robert Bloxom, Jr..
We saw Terrance too! And he was wearing our shirt! Terrance is a No Limits alumnus (now a member of The Denbigh House, Newport News, Community Brain Injury Services).
